Custodial vs Non-Custodial

Lesson outline

  • Custodial wallet: the service holds the keys (an exchange). Convenient, but the funds are effectively not yours.
  • Non-custodial: only you hold the keys. Our picks — Rabby and OKX Wallet (transaction simulation, built-in revoking); MetaMask and Phantom (Solana) are also popular.
